Senior Quantity Surveyor

Up to £95,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Comprehensive Package

A leading £1 billion turnover main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team, delivering a portfolio of multi-million-pound education projects across the Ipswich region.

You will take commercial responsibility for major education schemes from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The position is predominantly site-based across the Ipswich area, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week and only occasional visits to the regional office.

• Managing all commercial aspects of projects valued at several million pounds
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control
• Preparation and agreement of valuations and final accounts
• Managing variations and contractual matters
• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
• Working closely with project delivery teams and clients
• Ensuring projects achieve commercial targets and objectives

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment
• Experience delivering construction projects from inception through to completion
• Strong understanding of JCT forms of contract
• Excellent commercial, contractual, and negotiation skills
• Degree qualified or equivalent within Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Full UK driving licence

• Salary up to £95,000
