We are recruiting for a leading specialist contractor operating within the building envelope sector, delivering complex, bespoke solutions on some of the UK's most prestigious residential developments.

This is an opportunity to join a growing, financially strong business where you'll have genuine autonomy, direct influence over project outcomes, and responsibility for projects ranging from £400,000 to £5 million in value.

As Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of up to five live projects at any one time, ensuring they are delivered safely, profitably, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

You will act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, design teams and site teams, coordinating every stage of the project lifecycle from design development through manufacture, installation and final handover.

This role combines technical understanding, project leadership and commercial accountability, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both engineering and client-facing project delivery.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have progressed from a technical or design background into project delivery roles.

You may currently be working as a:

* Senior Project Engineer

* Design Manager

* Project Manager

* Technical Manager

Experience with in any of the following sectors would be highly relevant:

* Façades

* Cladding

* Building Envelope

* Architectural Metalwork

* Structural Steel

* Curtain Walling

* Glazing Systems

* Balconies

You will have strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and experience managing multiple stakeholders across complex construction projects.

Location

The role is predominantly home-based.

You will attend the Reading office approximately once per month and undertake a fully supported two-week induction programme at the start of your employment. Accommodation and associated expenses during the induction period will be covered by the company.
