Job DescriptionDue to significant growth across our Transmission and Distribution business, United Infrastructure is seeking an established Quantity Surveyor to support our growing workload within the Commercial area of our business. This is a site‑based role in Perthshire, Scotland.
The role involves post‑award contract administration, providing commercial and contractual deliverables, implementing project plans, undertaking cost analysis, preparing cash‑flow forecasts, developing subcontracting commercial strategy, and contributing to internal project reviews and forecasts. You will monitor construction execution to tight deadlines, identify entitlement, and manage performance within budgets.
You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and procurement, engage with clients and subcontractors, and address queries to maintain cost controls and support decision‑making.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil, infrastructure or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimating and contract administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
