(Open to Assistant Building Surveyors with additional experience - salary negotiable depending on experience)

Why This Role?I'm currently working on behalf of a well-established Building consultancy.
This opportunity would suit a Graduate Building Surveyor looking to develop within a respected consultancy environment, gaining exposure to both professional and project-led work while progressing towards MRICS chartership.
The team is also open to considering Assistant Building Surveyors who have already gained consultancy experience and are looking to accelerate their development within a larger practice.
The OpportunityYou'll join a collaborative Building Surveying team with an excellent reputation for APC support and getting people MRICS chartered at the first attempt.
Working closely with senior surveyors, you'll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of instructions and develop the technical and professional skills required to progress your career.
Typical Responsibilities- Building Surveys
- Technical Due Diligence
- Dilapidations
- Contract Administration
- Refurbishment Projects
- Defect Diagnosis
- Planned Maintenance Advice
- Schedules of Condition
- Project Monitoring and Reporting
- General Professional Surveying Instructions
- Assist senior surveyors on both project and professional instructions
- Undertake site inspections and surveys
- Assist with report writing and technical advice
- Support contract administration duties
- Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants
- Develop technical knowledge across multiple service lines
- Progress towards chartership and professional qualification
- RICS Accredited degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Strong communication skills
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Genuine desire to build a long-term career in Building Surveying
- Previous consultancy experience through a placement year, internship or graduate role
- APC already underway
- Exposure to both project and professional work
