This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established national training provider that has been delivering high-quality education and apprenticeships for around 15 years. Supporting approximately 800 learners across England, the organisation works closely with major construction employers and delivers apprenticeships across Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management and the wider Built Environment.
You’ll deliver technical teaching entirely remotely via Microsoft Teams, supporting apprentices through their qualifications and helping them develop the practical knowledge and technical skills required to progress within the construction industry. You’ll be joining an established curriculum team with schemes of work, learning materials and assignments already in place, alongside dedicated Support Coaches, Functional Skills Specialists and an EPA Specialist.
This role would suit an experienced Construction Lecturer, Civil Engineering Lecturer, Built Environment Tutor, Apprenticeship Tutor or Construction Trainer looking to move into a fully remote position whilst continuing to make a genuine difference to learners entering the industry.
The Role- Deliver high-quality Construction & Built Environment apprenticeship teaching remotely via Microsoft Teams.
- Teach technical content across Civil Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying and wider Built Environment programmes.
- Support apprentices through their apprenticeship standards and associated technical qualifications.
- Deliver tutor-led sessions during the mornings, with afternoons focused on directed learning, learner support and 1:1 sessions.
- Assess and mark learner work, supporting achievement throughout their programme.
- Provide ongoing 1:1 support and guidance to apprentices.
- Work closely with Support Coaches, Functional Skills Specialists and EPA Specialists.
- Deliver programmes including Civil Engineering, Construction Design & Build, Quantity Surveying, Construction Site Supervision and Digital Engineering.
- Recognised Level 4 teaching qualification as a minimum.
- Relevant industry experience within Construction, Civil Engineering or the Built Environment.
- Previous experience delivering Further Education, apprenticeships or work-based learning.
- Experience delivering training remotely via Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
- Experience delivering apprenticeship standards and associated technical qualifications.
