We're seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial performance of key highways projects, working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners to ensure successful delivery.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative commercial team, lead projects with autonomy, mentor others and play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure improvements.
What you'll be doing
 
* Leading the commercial management of multiple highways projects.
 
* Managing costs, forecasting, change control and contract administration.
 
* Maximising project profitability and cash performance.
 
* Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, variations and final accounts.
 
* Identifying and mitigating commercial risks while driving opportunities.
 
* Producing CVRs, cost reports and monthly commercial forecasts.
 
* Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
 
* Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
What we're looking for
 
* Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within highways, civil engineering or infrastructure.
 
* Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of NEC contracts.
 
* Experience managing subcontractors and commercial reporting.
 
* Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders.
 
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent industry experience.
 
* Membership of, or working towards, RICS or CICES is advantageous.
