As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll work on projects across North Wales that make a real difference to our environment and communities, from improving flood defences to upgrading water treatment works and providing nature-based solutions that improve biodiversity. Project coverage will focus on Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy.

You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from early contractor involvement, optioneering and tender negotiation through to design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. You will help ensure projects are financially viable, contractually compliant and delivered to the required standards.

While this role is aimed at experienced Quantity Surveyors, we'd also welcome applications from ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyors looking to progress their career.

The Role Of a Quantity Surveyor Includes
  • Ensuring robust cost management processes are in place, providing accurate and timely reports, data and analysis to assist commercial decisions.
  • Working closely with the delivery team to identify, implement and monitor efficiency plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring all project team members understand the contractual arrangements required to meet client requirements.
  • Supporting our clients to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks to help deliver successful outcomes.
  • Influencing the contractual and commercial aspects of schemes to ensure robust project control.
  • Fostering and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication, understanding client needs and delivering value through effective cost management and project delivery.
  • Working across project sites in Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy, with flexibility to work from home or the Kinmel Park office.
What You'll Need
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience and knowledge of NEC contracts.
  • Experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • A practical mindset, good maths skills and the ability to solve problems and manage project finances.
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across North Wales.
