About the role
Balfour Beatty are working in partnership with The MEH Alliance. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Planner to support the successful delivery of electrical construction activities at Hinkley Point
C. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing Project Controls team and play a key role in planning, monitoring and driving progress across a major nuclear new-build project.
As an Electrical Construction Planner
, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed electrical construction schedules and four-week lookahead plans. You will work closely with construction, engineering and delivery teams to ensure schedules are aligned with programme milestones, resource requirements and construction readiness.
- Develop and maintain detailed Electrical Level 5 construction schedules.
- Prepare and update electrical four-week lookahead plans.
- Align schedules with the overall 16-week lookahead and key programme milestones.
- Establish activity-level progress and quantity measurement requirements.
- Integrate engineering, material availability, access requirements, resources, quality and commissioning activities into project schedules.
- Work closely with delivery teams to confirm activity readiness and identify constraints.
- Monitor progress and track installed quantities against planned outputs.
- Produce accurate, evidence-based schedule updates and productivity reports to support project performance and decision-making
- HNC in an Engineering discipline.
- Planning experience within construction environments.
- Strong understanding of construction planning and project controls.
- Experience producing and maintaining detailed construction schedules.
- Ability to analyse project performance and track progress against programme milestones.
- Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams in a complex delivery environment.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain BPSS Security Clearance.
