We are looking for an experienced Electrical Lead Planning Manager to lead the Electrical Construction Planning team at Hinkley Point
C.
You will coordinate electrical planning across the assigned programme or delivery area, ensuring that detailed construction schedules and lookaheads are integrated, achievable and aligned with key programme milestones. The role will provide visibility of construction readiness, interfaces, constraints and schedule risks, helping to support safe, coordinated and predictable delivery.
What you'll be doing- Leading and coordinating the Electrical Construction Planners
- Developing and maintaining integrated Level 5 electrical construction schedules
- Coordinating four-week electrical lookaheads and contributing to the overall 16-week lookahead
- Ensuring activities entering the four-week delivery window are sufficiently developed and ready for construction
- Managing planning interfaces across mechanical, HVAC, civil and commissioning activities
- Producing weekly electrical planning and progress-review information
- Providing electrical planning input into the wider MEH programme
You will be an experienced construction planner with the confidence to lead a team and coordinate complex, multidisciplinary programmes.
You should have:
- An HNC in an engineering discipline
- Relevant experience within planning and construction environments
- Strong experience developing and managing detailed construction schedules
- The ability to identify constraints, interfaces and programme risks
- Clear communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Previous leadership or line-management experience
- Ability to gain a security clearance.
