Residentiantial Surveyor Job Taunton England UK,Construction

We are currently working in partnership with a Building Surveying Consultancy, who are recruiting for a Permanent Building Surveyor to join their team.

The position will cover Taunton, Bristol and surrounding areas
, with the successful candidate working from home five days per week. The salary is £35,000-£45,000 per annum
, dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out residential building surveys, hold a full UK driving license, and have experience using Microsoft Word and CRM systems to produce professional pre-purchase survey reports.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to residential properties within a local area close to their home.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Carrying out one pre-purchase residential building survey per day
Attending residential properties allocated within a local area close to your home
Inspecting properties internally and externally to assess their overall condition
Identifying and recording building defects, damage, deterioration and maintenance issues
Assessing elements including roofs, walls, floors, ceilings, windows, doors and external areas
Identifying areas requiring further investigation or specialist advice
Gathering all relevant information required to produce an accurate survey report
Returning home following inspections to write and complete survey reports remotely
Producing clear, accurate and professional pre-purchase survey reports for residential clients
Managing your daily schedule to ensure inspections and reports are completed within the required timescales

Experience required:

Experience carrying out residential building surveys
Experience producing professional building survey reports
Knowledge of residential property construction, defects and maintenance issues

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

Full UK driving license
Experience using Microsoft Word
Experience working with CRM systems
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate reports
