Building Control Surveyor

North Worcestershire Building Control is a shared service serving Bromsgrove District, Redditch Borough and Wyre Forest District Councils. We are a modern customer focused building control provider with an excellent reputation for providing a proactive efficient and helpful service using an agile / remote working approach.

An opportunity exists for a fully qualified and experienced surveyor to join our team as part of our service delivery in the North Worcestershire area.

We are looking for self-motivated customer orientated individuals capable of providing an excellent service to new and existing customers.

You will be primarily working from home and can hit the ground running.

You will be a registered building inspector to Class 2 A-F and be experienced in and capable of dealing with the full range of building control duties including plan vetting, site inspections, enforcement and dangerous structures etc. We are also happy to accept applications from Class 2A surveyors who are currently applying to increase their certification level.

• You will have a full driving licence.
• You will be aware of the challenges facing building control and be willing to address these to the best of your abilities including competency validation renewal for the Building Safety Regulator which will of course be fully supported plus compliance with the Building Inspectors Competency Framework and Codes of Conduct.
