Overview

This is a Contracted position in the field of Education / Faculty / Adjunct, located in Saugerties, NY.

The position pays $250.00 — $500.00 per job.

• Write 2–3 blog articles per month (800–1,200 words) on topics such as signal flow, AV-over-IP, system design, and production workflows
• Translate technical concepts into clear, practical, and engaging content for integrators, engineers, and tech managers
• Collaborate with Markertek's team for topic briefs, outlines, and technical input
• Ensure accuracy through personal expertise or short interviews with internal subject matter experts
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform content strategy
• Meet agreed-upon deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards

• Per blog article (800–1,200 words): $250–$500 (rate dependent on complexity and writer experience)
• Payment issued monthly upon approval of deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Professional background in broadcast, AV integration, or live event technology
• Strong writing skills with the ability to explain complex systems in a clear, approachable style
• Technical credibility to speak authentically to industry professionals
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and collaborating remotely

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AV/broadcast trade publications and industry trends
