As an Art Director, you will lead the visual development of creative campaigns, defining look and feel, creating lockups, developing storyboards, and shaping visual narratives across media. Working closely with a copywriter, you’ll craft cohesive, persuasive campaigns that align with brand strategy and effectively communicate the intended message to the target audience.
Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with copywriters to develop compelling, on‑brand creative concepts.
- Execute visual design across print, digital, social, and broadcast media.
- Work under the direction of a creative lead across a variety of projects, including:
- Digital, social, and owned content
- Support of local industry events and sponsor ships
- Local editorial content
- Employee events
- Client internal communications
- Web production
- Legally mandated materials
- Present creative ideas and campaign concepts to internal teams and clients.
- Ensure all visual elements align with brand guidelines, strategy, and objectives.
- Support finalization of visuals for each execution, ensuring consistency and polish.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Stay current on design trends, advertising techniques, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in art direction or design within an agency or creative environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and high‑quality design across media.
- Proficiency in creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams including copywriters, designers, strategists, and clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Solid understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for craft.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- General understanding of the digital landscape, including online campaigns, web experiences, and social media.
- Enthusiasm, strong ideas, and a deep appreciation for the details.
