Remote Graphic Designer At Stryker

Position Overview:
Stryker is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its Strategic Communications Team. This role is responsible for developing high-impact visual communications that support a wide range of internal and external initiatives. The designer will collaborate across departments to produce creative assets that align with brand standards and strategic goals, helping elevate Stryker’s messaging and engagement across channels.

This is a remote position with a preference for candidates located in Michigan, Illinois, Washington, or California. The role offers the opportunity to work on both internal communications and customer-facing projects, with a focus on storytelling, brand consistency, and visual clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with communications and cross-functional teams to produce graphic solutions
• Design and update content for newsletters, intranet sites, digital signage, and other internal platforms
• Ensure all visual communications reflect brand standards, company values, and strategic priorities
• Translate complex messaging into engaging visual stories using layout, typography, and imagery
• Support leadership messaging, employee communications, and event materials
• Maintain and organize internal design files for shared access
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback to refine deliverables
• Advise internal teams on design best practices and communication strategies
• Prioritize and manage multiple design projects efficiently
• Stay informed on company developments and industry trends

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Entry-level applicants welcome; no prior experience required
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, and graphic design principles
• Ability to transform raw content into compelling visual communications
• Strong storytelling skills through design

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Publisher, MS Word, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Familiarity with Marketo, SharePoint, and digital signage platforms
• Understanding of print production processes
• Basic knowledge of HTML
