We’re looking for a Engraving specialist to help shape the future of our notation engine, ensuring world‑class engraving quality across the product. This role suits someone with deep knowledge of professional music engraving standards and experience working in software development.

• Perform detailed quality checks on all engraving‑related PRs.
• Support the Muse Score Studio QA team through routine smoke testing on Mac, Windows and Linux, to uphold high‑quality engraving and notation behaviour.
• Collaborate with other internal teams to gather requirements and prepare specifications and design briefs for upcoming engraving‑related features.
• Provide expert guidance on engraving appearance and notation conventions – especially for contemporary classical music – and recommend new features and improvements.
• Write engraving‑specific release notes and user documentation for each release.

• Expertise in music notation and professional engraving and publishing standards across a wide range of musical styles
• A minimum tertiary qualification in music.
• Development experience is highly preferred
