The agency offers advanced marketing services, utilizing both time-tested and emerging methods and technologies to secure a higher rate of customer engagement and retention.
Alchemy Worx is hunting for an elevated Senior Digital Designer (Contract Position) to join us remotely. We are looking for an individual who doesn't just execute design, but who leads the visual strategy for a premium portfolio of high-end product brands.
This is a role for a designer with an Art Director's mindset. The ideal candidate understands that aesthetics and Direct Response (DR) are inseparable. We need a creative professional capable of translating data into gorgeous, high-converting assets across email, SMS, and digital channels.
Preference for someone located in the PST timezone, but open for the right candidate!

What You'll Do
  • Design Leadership & Execution:
Lead the visual development and production of digital assets across various client channels (e.g., email, landing pages, display ads, social media). Translate strategic goals and brand guidelines into stunning, effective visual solutions
  • Tool Proficiency & Production:
Maintain expert proficiency in design and prototyping software, primarily Figma, and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Firefly). Own the design file structure, organization, and hand-off process to ensure seamless execution by developers and builders
  • Strategic

    Collaboration:

Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with strategists, copywriters, and account managers to align visual concepts with campaign strategy, brand voice, and client objectives
  • Project Management:
Utilize project management software Click Up to manage personal workloads, track project statuses, and ensure designs are delivered on time and within scope
  • Team Integration:
Partner closely with internal builders and developers to ensure designs are technically feasible, optimized for performance, and flawlessly translated into final production assets
  • Concept & Prototyping:
Develop high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and compelling mockups that clearly communicate design intent and user experience flows
  • Quality Assurance:
Set and maintain high standards for design quality, consistency, and adherence to accessibility best practices and client brand guidelines. Act as a final visual QC before assets move into the production phase
Requirements
  • Experience:

Proven experience (5+ years preferred) as a Digital Designer, Senior Designer, or similar role, preferably within an agency environment. A strong portfolio demonstrating visual strategy and high-fidelity production work is required
  • Direct Response Creative:
Proven success designing assets that drive conversion, AOV, and ROI, especially for beauty, fashion, or high-end product verticals
  • Figma Fluency:
Expert-level mastery of Figma for design systems, production, and high-fidelity prototyping
  • Strategic Execution:
The ability to move beyond production to set the strategic visual standard for complex, multi-channel campaigns
  • Tool Acumen:
Familiarity and practical experience with common project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Click Up, etc.) for workflow management and collaboration
  • Remote Ready:
Proven ability to work effectively, independently, and collaboratively in a 100% remote work environment, integrating seamlessly with both remote and in-office team members
  • Communication:
Excellent verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationales, present concepts, and provide constructive feedback. Must know your way around Slack
  • Collaboration:

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment working closely with multiple stakeholders (strategy, copy, account management, development)
  • Adaptability:
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and incorporate feedback quickly and iteratively
Benefits
  • Compensation: $55-$60/hour, depending on experience
  • Environment: A dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative atmosphere where your expertise is valued and your work has immediate, measurable impact
