Creative Services Designer - Remote

Responsibilities

• Ensures graphic and visual assets are aligned with brand identity and strategy.
• Designs web content using approved CMS and in accordance with corporate guidelines, ensuring standards for timeliness and quality are met.
• Works closely with an interdisciplinary team of designers, video producers, and other content creators, to use design and critical thinking skills to generate ideas and shape customer experience.
• Translates a variety of data into clear and engaging visual presentations that bring the data to life and provide insights to our audience.
• Designs and produces creative visual and graphic elements for print and digital media for internal and external projects and activities. Ensures standards for timeliness and quality are met.
• Organizes and maintains archive of all visual assets.
• Remains abreast of changes and developments in the blood banking industry and in digital and visual communication related to regulations and standards and provides direction to implement required changes.
• Establishes and maintains a network of professional relationships

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design or Graphic Information Technology preferred.
• Knowledge of basic principles of design for print, digital, web and animation required.
• Solid understanding traditional prepress and print production required.
• Solid understanding of web design principles, including responsive/adaptive design, user experience & accessibility helpful.
• Three years related professional design experience required.
• Experience in fundamentals of web display ad creation including ad specifications and animated GIFs.
• Experience designing in Eloqua or other marketing automation tools.
• Demonstrated experience in design best practices and production of graphic art and visual materials for enterprise-wide branding initiatives, collateral and informational materials through a variety of media such as print, websites, presentation and digital documents.
