The Medical Writer role is a hybrid position based in any U.S. office—New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely in the U.S., depending on team and business needs.

• Develop scientific copy for assigned brands and products
• Collaborate with medical writers, directors, and cross‑functional teams to produce accurate copy
• Review literature and competitor products to inform content strategy
• Adhere to AMA and client style guidelines and ensure reference accuracy
• Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and communicate progress with clients and reviewers
• Present scientific projects to clients and KOLs for feedback and incorporate edits
• Contribute to visually compelling and scientifically accurate scientific data visualizations with creative and illustrative teams
• Maintain up‑to‑date scientific knowledge and provide medical guidance to the team

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, Pharm
  
  D) required
• Up to 1 year of medical communications agency experience preferred, not essential
• Familiarity with FDA, AMA, and relevant guidelines
• Strong scientific foundation with rapid learning of therapeutic areas
• Excellent written communication of complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences
• Proactive, driven, and resourceful with strong prioritization skills
• Highly organized self‑starter able to work independently and under tight deadlines

$75,000 – $85,000
