UI​/UX Designer

About The Role

Our client is a branding and product design agency specializing in building brands for technology companies from pre‑seed to IPO and beyond. Our clients range from high‑growth startups to established global enterprises across sectors such as AI, enterprise SaaS, fintech and healthcare, and our work spans brand creation, rebranding, landing pages, marketing design, and product design.

• Take ownership of client digital product design projects from project brief to final deliverable handoff, with regular check‑ins with a Creative Director or Design Manager.
• Contribute to the full design process including user research, defining user task flows and UI, creating low and high fidelity wireframes, and iterating based on stakeholder and user feedback.
• Define and maintain design systems for client products.
• Prototype, spec designs, and organize Figma files in preparation for handoff for development.
• Participate in design QA and usability testing.

• Deep experience working self‑directed as a contractor. Please specify your years of experience as a contractor when applying.
• A portfolio demonstrating core competency in UX/UI design, excellent design thinking and adherence to a design process. When applying, let us know your most and least favorite parts of your design process.
• Experience with Figma including auto layout, components/variants, and prototyping.
• Experience with design systems.
• Experience interfacing with, collaborating with, and presenting to a cross‑functional team.
• Excellent fluency in English both verbal, comprehension, and communication.
• Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders and products at once.

• An interest and demonstrated ability in visual design and branding is a big plus.
• Experience mentoring and collaborating with junior designers is a plus.
• Remote work and agency experience is strongly preferred.
