Position: Live Event Production Manager

Role Overview

The Production Manager plays a critical role in bringing Eide Com’s live event experiences to life. This position oversees client relationships, manages A/V production logistics, and ensures seamless execution from planning through onsite delivery. As both a collaborator and leader, the Production Manager partners with sales, creative, and technical teams to align vision with execution while building trust and confidence with clients.

This is a full‑time role based in Brooklyn Park, MN, with travel required for onsite event execution. Remote work may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee live event production teams, including site visits, load‑ins, rigging, budgeting, and technical execution.
  • Manage client content pre‑event and on‑site, ensuring flawless delivery.
  • Travel to events to execute a technical role and oversee client needs in real time.
Operational Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain production timelines and logistics schedules.
  • Track milestones, communicate project updates, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Source equipment and technical needs from third‑party vendors.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with freelance technical staff.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the production process.
  • Conduct regular calls with clients and technical staff to align on progress and expectations.
  • Partner with sales, creative, and technical departments to understand client goals and deliver impactful event experiences.
  • Provide production and logistics details to vendors and venues.
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience in live event audio/visual production management.
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge with Vectorworks; certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and with clients.
  • Experience balancing event creative with technical and production needs.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: $95,000‑$125,000, depending on experience.
