• Location: Remote within United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia & New Zealand (You must be legally authorised to work in the country where you are based)
• Compensation: $15 - $18 per hour based on location, experience, responsibilities, and performance.

Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role requires a dual skillset: the linguistic precision of a professional editor and the investigative rigor of a fact‑checker. You will be responsible for ensuring that AI-generated content is not only grammatically flawless and stylistically polished but also factually unassailable.

Your work will directly help the model learn to distinguish between credible information and "hallucinations" while maintaining a high standard of prose.

• Edit AI-generated responses for clarity, flow, tone, and strict adherence to grammatical rules, ensuring the output reads as if written by a professional human.
• Conduct comprehensive fact-checking of claims made by the AI, verifying names, dates, scientific data, and historical events against authoritative sources.
• Identify and correct "hallucinations" (instances where the AI confidently states false information), ensuring the model is provided with the correct facts and citations.
• Rewrite content that is factually accurate but poorly phrased to improve readability and user engagement.
• Evaluate the credibility of sources used by the AI (if applicable) and flag unreliable or biased information.

• Proven experience in professional editing, copy editing, journalism, or research-heavy writing roles.
• Exceptional command of English grammar and style, with the ability to edit according to specific guides (e.g., AP Style, Chicago).
• Strong research skills with the ability to quickly and accurately verify information across a wide range of topics.
• A healthy skepticism and an "eagle eye" for detail, ensuring that no factual error or typo slips through.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.

• Rate: Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).
• Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours.
