Job Title: Graphic Designer, Policy & Communications

Organization: Bachar Lorai Global

Location: Remote (Global – preference for candidates in/near South Asian time zones or with strong regional ties. Applicants in Canada, UK, USA, or Bangladesh also welcome.)

Reporting to: Matrix reporting across Policy Research & Communications teams.

The Opportunity:

Are you a creative Graphic Designer passionate about social impact? Bachar Lorai Global is looking for a talent like you to bring our policy insights and youth initiatives to life! You'll design compelling visuals for our "Impact Ink Articles," our flagship Annual Policy Brief, the "Young Voices Annual Essay Competition," and other key communications. This is your chance to make complex information accessible and engaging.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):

• Design & layout striking graphics for our "Impact Ink Articles," ensuring a professional and engaging reader experience.
• Craft the design for our Annual Policy Brief, including data visualizations and infographics for print/digital.
• Develop creative materials for the "Young Voices Essay Competition" (promotional graphics, winner announcements, etc.).
• Create a variety of other communications assets (social media visuals, website graphics, presentations).
• Translate policy concepts and research data into clear, visually appealing designs, maintaining brand consistency.
• Prepare final design files for print and digital, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Who You Are:

• Graphic Design experience with a strong portfolio (experience with policy/non-profit sector is a big plus!).
• Strong grasp of design principles (layout, typography, color) and data visualization.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to translate complex ideas into compelling visuals.
• Excellent collaborator, comfortable in a matrix reporting structure and remote team environment.
• Interested in public policy, social issues, and youth empowerment.
• Relevant degree/diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
