GiveMeSport EA FC Writer

This is a paid freelance, remote position

Give Me Sport  is one of the UK’s leading sports media brands, covering football, basketball, combat sports, and more — and delivering engaging, timely coverage to millions of fans every month.

As part of the Valnet Publishing Group, Give Me Sport  is expanding its gaming coverage and is seeking experienced and passionate EA FC Writers to produce original, high-quality content focused on EA Sports FC 25 (formerly FIFA) — from Ultimate Team and Career Mode to gameplay guides and community trends.

• Contribute a minimum of 4 EA FC-focused articles per week, including guides, news updates, tips, and features.
• Write clear, engaging, and well-researched content about EA Sports FC 25, Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Tactics, and Gameplay Updates.
• Stay up to date on EA FC patches, promos, events, and community discussions.
• Pitch and execute ideas that connect with both hardcore EA FC players and casual fans.
• Meet deadlines and maintain consistent communication with editors.
• Incorporate editorial feedback and adhere to Give Me Sport ’s style guide and content standards.

• Educational background in journalism, communications, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience writing about video games, esports, or football‑related gaming content.
• In-depth knowledge of EA Sports FC gameplay, mechanics, and community culture.
• Ability to produce tutorials, opinion pieces, and news updates that are accurate, informative, and engaging.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and audience‑driven editorial strategy.
• Experience using a CMS preferred.
• Passion for football and gaming — especially EA Sports FC and its evolving franchise.
