. We seek a skilled seamstress with formal wear experience to join our team. As a Thimble seamstress, you will provide excellent customer service and perform alterations and repairs on garments at your home workspace.

• You must own a sewing machine at home; this is a work‑from‑home position.
• At least 3 years of experience as a seamstress doing formal dress alterations.
• Proven experience with bridal, prom, or evening dresses is preferred.
• Proficiency with sewing machines and alteration tools.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating fabric requirements.
• Ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Perform alterations and repairs on garments, including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, working with multiple layers, and replacing buttons or zippers.
• Use sewing machines, hand tools, and other equipment to complete tailoring tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with fittings and ensuring satisfaction with the finished product.
• Take accurate measurements from customers during fittings.
• Maintain a clean and organized home work area.
