Position: Social Media Writer (for X)

Crypto News is an independent, privately owned media company based in Dubai. We started in 2015 as one of the early Bitcoin trade publications, BTCMANAGER, and have since dedicated ourselves to covering the markets, tech, businesses and culture that shape the crypto industry.

We are looking for a creative Social Media Writer (for X) to keep our audience updated with the latest crypto news. If your language is memes, you’re fast, and people are drawn to you because you can’t stop talking about crypto, you’re the right person for the job!

Position details

Full‑time, remote

A must: Provide your personal X (Twitter) handle and links to the crypto‑related accounts you have managed.

Responsibilities

Be available for an 8 pm – 4 am CET/CEST shift.
Create short‑form news updates and engaging content for X (Twitter) and Telegram.
Post breaking news and market insights rapidly and with high accuracy.
Write and publish regular posts across all relevant social media channels by adapting website content and creating original, real‑time news updates.
Track crypto news, trends, and market movements to provide timely updates.
Maintain a subscription feed of key influencers, analysts, and industry leaders.
Engage with the community, respond to relevant comments, and maintain an active social presence.
Write from a personal and opinionated perspective while maintaining credibility.
Work closely with the editorial team, leveraging their articles and resources to rewrite and repurpose content for social media.
Analyze engagement metrics and optimize content strategy accordingly.

Requirements

Proven experience creating engaging and high‑quality crypto content for multiple social media platforms – provide links to your personal or managed accounts.
Expert‑level knowledge of the crypto industry; familiarity with key players, trends, and market movements.
Fluent English writing skills with the ability to craft sharp, concise, and engaging content.
Ability to write quickly and accurately in a fast‑paced news environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience monitoring and engaging with crypto influencers, projects, and breaking news.
