Role Overview

Media Bar Productions, LLC is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Professional Video Editor to join our team on a contract basis. As a key contributor to our video production process, you will be responsible for crafting engaging, high-quality video content that meets client needs and aligns with our creative vision. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, proficiency in industry-standard editing software, and the ability to manage multiple projects with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities 📋

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos, ensuring seamless storytelling and visual appeal.
• Incorporate b-roll, motion graphics, color correction, and sound design to enhance video content.
• Work collaboratively with producers, directors, and clients to execute creative visions and meet project goals.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
• Apply advanced video editing techniques, including transitions, effects, and compositing, to create engaging content.
• Optimize videos for different platforms (web, social media, broadcast) while maintaining brand consistency.
• Review and implement client feedback, making necessary revisions to align with their expectations.
• Ensure proper organization and archiving of all video assets and project files.

Required Qualifications 🎓

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, and other Adobe Products

• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Background in cinematography or familiarity with camera equipment and footage formats.
• Knowledge of video compression, export settings, and delivery formats.
• Previous work in corporate, commercial, or documentary-style editing.
