Post Production Supervisor

Job Summary

We currently have an immediate opening for a freelance/remote Post Production Supervisor. The ideal candidate is proficient in Adobe products, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects. They also possess knowledge of social media video trends, a sharp eye for detail, strong leadership skills and deadline management.

The Editing Director is carrying on the vision into the post production cycle. They are managing quality control as well as consistency of all edits between multiple editors.

• Review drafts submitted by the remote editing team, making sure they meet industry standards, as well as the expectations of the client
• Review drafts submitted by the remote editing team, making sure they meet industry standards, as well as the expectations of the client
• Review raw footage to potentially catch anything that would require a reshoot as early as possible, and read storyboards to strategize editor assignments
• Outline typography, graphic/sfpx, music and overall editing style for editors to follow in each contract
• Work with the other video editors to improve and share skills
• Document winning ads to implement their elements into future videos
• Study current video trends across all platforms
• Take over high-priority or speciality projects when necessary

• Proficiency with Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Passion for video editing, with a strong background in editing, audio, visuals and motion graphics work
• Ability to implement creative choices during editing
• Problem-solve issues that may arise with a video without backtracking the timeline
• Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team environment
• Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
