Video Editor

We’re looking for a Part‑Time Video Editor to support ongoing podcast, You Tube, and social video production. This role is ideal for an editor who is detail‑oriented, comfortable working from clear production notes, and experienced editing talking‑head and podcast‑style content.

You’ll collaborate closely with a Senior Video Producer and Content team to deliver clean, polished edits across multiple formats, with a strong focus on accuracy, pacing, and consistency.

• Edit long‑form podcast and You Tube videos from raw footage
• Create short‑form social clips (Reels, Shorts, Tik Tok‑style edits)
• Remove filler words, dead air, and unnecessary pauses
• Apply text overlays, captions, and basic motion graphics as directed
• Follow detailed production notes, timestamps, and creative instructions
• Ensure edits meet brand style and quality standards
• Deliver assets within agreed‑upon turnaround timelines
• Communicate clearly if timelines or scope need adjustment

• Proven experience editing podcast or talking‑head video content
• Experience editing You Tube long‑form videos and/or social clips
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus)
• Excellent English comprehension for captions, text overlays, on‑screen copy
• Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
• Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
• Reliable availability for 20 hours/week with EST overlap
