Graphic Designer​/Large Format Specialist

Wanted for immediate hire. Full-time with benefits. Alpha Graphics-Madison seeks a highly experienced graphic designer / large format specialist to join our growing team. Candidates must have full-time graphic design work history. Strong creative skills combined with technical proficiency required for fast-paced work environment. Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities in a print production environment is critical. Must have a willingness to "pitch in" in all departments if necessary.

Responsibilities include:

• Produce quality production and creative design work in a fast-paced environment
• Receive customer supplied files, pre-flight and Rip to production equipment
• Work with the Graphic Design Supervisor, Production Manager, and Sales Team on creative projects from concept to production
• Remain up-to-date on changes in the graphic design industry and software
• Actively communicate with customers, management and co-workers
• Understanding of Large Format Design and execution a must: setting up files for cut vinyl, analyzing files for large signage, understanding of different substrates for large format use; including vehicle wraps, and custom vinyl installations

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive upbeat attitude
• Ability to coordinate multiple schedules
• Working knowledge of Mac and Windows
• Full proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite required
• Willingness to contribute in production of large format jobs, including installations
• Large format printing and design experience
• Full-time experience as a Graphic Designer - Print industry preferred
• College degree in Graphic Design

Salary:
Compensation based on experience (at least 3 years).

Hours:

Full time.
