We are looking for an experienced Seamstress to join our network of home‑based tailoring professionals. As a Thimble Seamstress, you’ll provide alterations and repairs for customers in your area.

$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

• Perform alterations and repairs on garments, including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, working with multiple layers and replacing buttons or zippers.
• Use sewing machines, hand tools, and other equipment to complete tailoring tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with fitting and ensuring their satisfaction with the finished product.
• Take accurate measurements from customers during fittings.
• Maintain a clean and organized home work area.

• Proficiency in using sewing machines and other alteration tools.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform precise measurements.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating fabric requirements.
• Ability to maintain high‑quality standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
