Content Editor, B2B; Digital

As the Content Editor for Digital, you will be in a dualroleincorporating bothwebsitecontent creation and events content.

Your primary function is towriterelevantandinsightfulnews forthe

Fleet News and AM websites, working closely with the section editors.

All content must meetthebrandproposition and audience needs, with a clear focus on the insight and analysis behind the headlines.

You are also responsible forwritingwebsite and social media content to promote key Fleet News and AMevents to delegates,working closely with the Editors, eventsteamandexternal events marketing agency.

Part of this role will also include attending car/van media launchesasrequired, writing review content for the website.

This is a hybrid role that comes with working from our Peterborough office 1 day per week (Monday) and the rest working from home.

• Writing newswithheadlines, photos, pic captions andabstractsfor Fleet News and AM.
• Uploading articles tobrandwebsites,following
  
  SEO,linksandmetabestpractice.
• Acting as a bastion of best practice for SEO, liaising with the internal
  
  SEO team and head of digital.
• Promote content on social media, maximizing the number of people who engage with the articles.
• Write event editorial communicationsforwebsites and social media.
• Contributiontoeditorial discussions oncontent and brand planning.
• Analysetrafficstats todeterminethe vital content to engage theprimaryaudience.
• Attending and reviewing new car and van launches
• Feature contribution tomajor reports –e.g.Fleet
  200, FN50,FNAwards, AM Awards, AM100
• Attending industry events – both internal (e.g.Fleet News Awards, Automotive Management Live) and external as required.
• Networking with primary audiences and building contacts
• Supporting the commercial team where required,e.g.client meetings

• Skilled in SEO
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple tasks
• A good team player but able to work on own initiative
