Freelance, Production Coordinator Intimates

We are looking to fill a freelance Production Coordinator, Intimates role with a top fashion brand in NYC. You will coordinate information for development of new styles from concept to production via interaction with internal and external cross‑functional partners and across all international channels. Monitor production of adopted styles through daily PLM maintenance and Google Sheets WIP monitoring.

• Partner with Design to drive trends/concepts to executable samples by working with factories.
• Ensure compliance with T&A calendar and major milestones by working with cross‑functional team; elevate issues to Coordinator/Director as needed.
• Gather data and report development ratios to agreed levels.
• Adhere to sourcing strategy by partnering with Coordinator/Director before placing sample requests; release tech packs to factories via PLM.
• Manage record keeping of tech pack send out and allocation on a seasonal basis.
• Actively participate in key milestone meetings with Design, Production, Technical Design and Merchants.
• Track packages through UPS/FEDEX/DHL; receive, log and distribute packages to cross‑functional team partners.

• Interface with cross‑functional team members to ensure approval deadlines are met.
• Ensure T&A calendar and seasonal milestones are being met and elevate to supervisor as needed, encompassing: PLM deadline, costing inputs, staging quotes for POs, etc.
• Procure, save and organize new cost quotes in preparation for review with team.
• Communicate daily with overseas vendors regarding style development, production and delivery information.
• Review outstanding issues on PLM Edit and PO Edits, take action accordingly and elevate to Supervisor as needed.
• Work with merchants on garment cost, buys, production planning, liabilities and delivery.
• Help to develop and improve tracking and record‑keeping systems.
• Perform other duties as required inclusive of ownership of special projects.
• Able to work in a hybrid environment: some work may be performed remotely but certain essential functions must be performed in‑person/in‑office on a weekly basis. In‑person collaboration is required, the frequency dictated by business needs and may involve product development, milestone meetings, approvals, etc.

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years related experience.
• Ability to act as liaison between many departments and possess excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Must be detail‑oriented, possess keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, computer literate, and able to multitask as well as have a high sense of urgency.
• Experience in digital PLM systems, Google Drive, and Gmail is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment – working in office a few days a week with occasional remote work from home.
