Content and Social Lead (hands‑on; London based, semi‑remote)

Your mission: build Hēdoïne’s social presence into a recognizable editorial universe that fuels growth across Instagram and Tik Tok.

In this role, you’ll own the content system across Instagram and Tik Tok, ensuring consistent pillar mix, unmistakable brand codes, and high‑volume execution without diluting the brand.

Key Responsibilities Editorial strategy and pillar governance
  • Build brand identity and direction and ensure the brand stays specific
  • Own our communication pillars and enforce the weekly mix for IG and Tik Tok
  • Translate brand DNA into clear, repeatable content rules and visual codes
  • Maintain a living content playbook (Do/Don’t, brand codes, format rules)
  • Bridge editorial storytelling and performance – driven creative to fuel growth and community engagement
  • Inject cultural relevance, brand distinctiveness and visual consistency
Content creation and execution
  • Create or oversee production of reels, short‑form video, stills, carousels, stories
  • Own on‑screen text and social copy in the Hēdoïne voice
  • Edit or supervise editing
  • Maintain consistent execution quality across in‑house and external assets
Content planning and cadence
  • Build and manage content calendars
  • Manage daily posting cadence
  • Plan content around drops, campaigns, seasonal moments, and business priorities
  • Align with performance marketing when needed
UGC and creator system
  • Build and run a UGC pipeline (sourcing, outreach, briefing, approval, usage rights)
  • Set and enforce creator guidelines
Production management
  • Organise shoots and capture days (shot lists, templates, deliverables, asset library)
  • Brief freelancers (videographers, editors, photographers, creators)
Performance Feedback Loop
  • Track performance weekly (reach, watch time, saves, shares, follower growth)
  • Run a simple test‑and‑learn system per pillar and format
  • Build insights into the next week’s plan
  • Consistent delivery of unmistakably Hēdoïne content across Instagram and Tik Tok
  • Weekly content calendar per platform (with pillar assignment per post)
  • Monthly editorial plan (themes, signature formats, production needs)
  • Shot template library (video and still templates, framing rules, text rules)
  • Creator briefs and UGC processing workflow
  • Weekly performance report with decisions
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Min 2‑3 years of end‑to‑end content creation experience (concept to edit) in fashion, beauty, or premium brands
  • Strong editorial judgement and taste
  • Excellent short‑form storytelling instincts for IG and Tik Tok
  • Copywriting for on‑screen text and captions (clear, sharp, witty)
  • Hands‑on editing ability or strong direction of editors
  • Comfort operating with speed and volume without compromising identity
  • Basic analytics fluency (retention, hook performance, saves/shares, format testing)
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, high‑growth consumer brand environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution‑driven approach
  • Ability to work independently, own your area, and deliver reliably
  • Comfortable working closely with creative production, performance marketing, E‑commerce/CRM
  • Semi‑remote setup with flexible working hours

This is a full‑time role with a preferred start date in Q1‑Q2 2026. The position can be remote depending on experience, with a strong preference for candidates based in London.
