Reel Video Editor – Freelance

This role is ideal for a creative video editor with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for cinematic visuals. You will be responsible for transforming provided horse riding footage, shot in Morocco, into a captivating Instagram reel that inspires and engages viewers. The project centers on delivering a high-quality, visually stunning edit that aligns with the aspirational and adventurous tone of the content creator’s travel page.

The soundtrack will be provided, and you are expected to integrate it seamlessly to enhance the overall impact of the reel. The final deliverable must be completed within 2-3 days, and there is potential for future collaborations based on the success of this project. Remote work is fully supported.

Responsibilities

• Edit one cinematic Instagram reel using supplied horse riding and beach riding footage from Morocco
• Integrate the provided soundtrack to complement the visuals and mood
• Reference the style and pacing of the provided Instagram accounts for creative direction
• Ensure the final video is optimized for Instagram’s format and quality standards
• Deliver the completed reel within the agreed 2-3 day timeframe

Requirements

• Proven experience editing short-form video content for social media, especially Instagram Reels
• Strong portfolio demonstrating cinematic editing style and storytelling ability
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on tight deadlines
• Excellent sense of pacing, music integration, and visual composition
• Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration
• Availability to start immediately and complete the project within 2-3 days
