ELearning Developer - Content & Delivery

Skillshub, a leading provider of practical, results‑driven digital learning solutions, creating both off‑the‑shelf and bespoke eLearning content for organisations across the UK.

Location:

Coventry based, with office attendance two days per week and flexibility for remote working.

This is a hands‑on eLearning development role focused on delivering high‑quality learning content across both internal projects and selected client work.

You’ll take ownership of your own projects from brief through to launch, remaining actively involved in development while coordinating with external contributors where needed. Some projects will involve direct client contact, while others will be internal content development for the Skillshub library.

We’re looking for someone organised, motivated and keen to learn. You don’t need to be an expert in every tool. We value ownership, curiosity and the ability to turn subject matter into clear, engaging learning.

• Design and build eLearning content using authoring tools Articulate Storyline and Rise
• Create and apply basic flat animation (text, icons, simple motion)
• Carry out basic video editing (cuts, captions, branding, simple graphics)
• Ensure content is clear, engaging and aligned to agreed standards

• Manage your own eLearning projects from brief to launch
• Work on a mix of internal content development and selected client projects
• Manage timelines, feedback and approvals
• Coordinate work with external eLearning developers when required
• Communicate progress clearly and keep delivery on track

• Draft voiceover scripts using provided subject matter, templates and AI tools
• Liaise with voiceover artists, presenters and contributors to coordinate recordings
• Manage feedback, revisions and final delivery of audio and video assets

• Carry out quality checks before content is released
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to support smooth delivery
• Follow established processes while contributing ideas for improvement

• Experience developing eLearning content (in-house or agency)
• Comfortable managing your own workload and deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Basic experience with animation and/or video
• Confident working independently in a hybrid working environment
• Willingness to learn, adapt and build technical skills

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop and design software such as Canva.
• Familiarity with AI tools for scripting or content drafting

• Salary: £30k-£35k + up to 10% company bonus based on performance
