Freelance Graphic Designer

This is an opportunity to work with the marketing team of a leading pet care retail company. You will provide ongoing support to the Graphic Design team, fulfilling various artwork requirements. You will be working alongside a very ambitious, highly productive team with very high standards and a great deal of passion and energy for the work that they do.

This position requires a candidate with a lot of flexibility. You must be able to acknowledge requests and new briefs within a few hours. You must be able to handle tight deadlines, and work with speed without compromising accuracy. We are looking for someone with quick turnaround times, delivering work with minimal to no errors.

You will report to the Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager.

Scope of design work:

• Social media artwork – statics and reels
• Basic video creation and editing using stock footage and imagery
• DTP & Layout
• Print material: flyers, brochures, wobblers, posters
• Digital banners for web and mailers

Skills and experience

• Experience working with the Adobe Suite (indesign, illustrator, photoshop, premier pro etc)
• At least 2 years working experience
• Experience with setting up artwork for print
• High attention to detail (meticulous)
• Excellent communication skills
• Great time management skills
• Ability to grasp concepts quickly

You will be required to attend a short training session covering the brand , our design approach and design templates.
