About Crazy Tok
Crazy Tok is a fast-growing, bootstrapped 'new media' content agency helping founders, creators and solopreneurs become digital influencers through podcasts, Youtube and short videos.
Location and Compensation
Based in Kolkata but work from home except for monthly meetups. Compensation is Rs 30k + up to 20% performance bonus per month. Performance is measured based on client feedback, timely delivery and quality of work. We will provide all software required for your work.
You Must Have
The required skills and experience indicated below
High-spec hardware capable of storing, processing and exporting multi-cam 4k footage
High-speed internet capable of transferring such heavy files
Strong command of English - our clients and our team are spread across the region
Objectives and Key Metrics
The main objective is to get the client's work done correctly and on time.
You will be evaluated on:
Performance metrics:
Client feedback, timeliness, quality of work
Communication and responsiveness over chat and in calls: do you respond to messages promptly and contribute in discussions?
Innovation: do you independently learn new tools and techniques, share/teach others and find ways to do your work better or more efficiently?
Independence: given overall direction, can you work independently asking questions or seeking clarifications when needed?
Accuracy:
Are you able to understand requirements and ensure every smallest detail is addressed?
Efficiency:
Are you able to manage your time and prioritise work to handle multiple things, delivering everything well and on time? You would be expected to work on 10-20 episodes per month along with dozens of reels
Attitude:
Are you dedicated to our work and helping make us better as a company? Are you interacting respectfully with others? Are you taking and addressing feedback well?
Role Description (some or all of the below, based on skills and interest)
Audio cleanup, improvement and enhancement
Video cuts. multi-cam switching and transitions
Colour corrections
B-roll sourcing and implementation
Motion graphics template edits to make Youtube video openers, transitions and outros
Short video editing
Skills
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Descript, Capcut and AI software)
Proficiency in audio editing software (Audacity and/or Pro Tools)
Good understanding of Youtube and social media platform algorithms, key metrics and what makes videos perform
Experience
2-3 years experience working on videos, ideally interview style podcasts, product promos and trailers
2-3 years experience working on audio podcasts or audio shows
