Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in New Delhi, with a combination of on-site studio work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Junior Apparel Designer & Product Development Associate will support the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept research and sketching to sampling, fittings, and production handover. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in designing movementwear collections aligned with the brand aesthetic, developing technical sketches and spec sheets, and sourcing and organizing fabrics, trims, and accessories.

The role will coordinate with pattern makers, sampling units, and vendors to ensure fit, quality, and on-time delivery, while maintaining product documentation and sample libraries. The associate will also help with mood boards, trend and competitor research, and provide support to marketing and e-commerce teams with product details, imagery guidelines, and launch preparation.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion, with the ability to translate brand identity into clear, wearable movementwear concepts.
Prior experience in designing knitwear, active wear, sportswear.
Hands-on experience with textiles, including fabric selection, performance properties, and material sourcing for active or lifestyle apparel.
Practical understanding of Trims, such as labels, zippers, elastics, and hardware, and their impact on function, comfort, and aesthetics.
Experience participating in and documenting fitting sessions, including fit comments, measurement checks, and iteration with pattern and sample teams.
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or similar) for flats and tech packs, and basic Excel or Google Sheets skills for product tracking.
Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple styles and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and enthusiasm for wellness, mindful living, and sustainable design practices.
