Senior Copywriter – NIOD
Join the DECIEM Design team as the dedicated creative partner for NIOD and serve as the in‑house messaging authority within our global creative structure.
Responsibilities- Lead 360° Campaign Copywriting: Drive the creation of compelling copy for brand marketing campaigns, including headlines, product messaging, social media, emails, and branded materials.
- Collaborate on Product Positioning: Work closely with the Brand team to build foundational concepts, unique selling propositions, and strategic product positioning.
- Define Global Tone of Voice Guidelines: Establish and execute clear copy guidelines to ensure absolute tone consistency across all internal and external channels.
- Build a Copywriting Center of Excellence: Create a centralized hub of style guidelines and mastery for DECIEM brands, focusing on elevating DECIEM and NIOD.
- Communicate Brand DNA: Deeply understand and express the unique core DNA of brands through creative copy on product packaging, marketing assets, and all customer‑facing touchpoints.
- Drive Cross‑Functional Alignment: Present conceptual copy and creative proposals directly to senior brand and creative leadership for approval and collaborative development.
- Decipher Complex Beauty Chemistry: Absorb highly detailed, technical science data and translate it into accessible, engaging narrative for consumers.
- Manage Website Copy Development: Support and oversee copy updates for DECIEM digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice.
- Mentor and Align the Writing Team: Act as a central communication link, keeping the copywriting network informed of major brand direction shifts or strategic changes.
- Ensure Editorial Quality and Agility: Review ongoing internal and external communications for brand accuracy, managing multiple projects simultaneously with high responsibility, precision, and agility.
- 5–7+ Years Advanced Copywriting
Experience:
Proven track record creating multi‑channel copy (social, digital, packaging, internal/external communications), ideally within an agency, startup, or fast‑growing DTC brand environment. - Versatile & Strategic Storytelling: Ability to write across diverse tones—from formal and intellectual to playful and abnormal—with a background in product concepting and positioning.
- Scientific Communication & Problem‑Solving: Skill to decipher complex, technical details (e.g., beauty chemistry) and translate them into crystal‑clear, engaging text.
- Operational Excellence & Agility: Highly organized, detail‑oriented, multi‑tasker who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, uses copy management systems, and takes full ownership of deliverables.
- Impeccable Communication & Cultural Alignment: Outstanding written and verbal skills rooted in a relevant degree (English, Journalism, Copywriting) or equivalent experience, with absolute grammatical precision and a sharp, cheeky sense of humor.
Base salary: $85,000 to $90,000. Salary may vary based on experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
