This full-time, permanent Journalist role is designed for a self-starter keen on cultivating community connections. Collaborate with colleagues at Exeter Lakeshore Times Advance and Goderich Signal-Star while initiating ideas for diverse coverage. Your ability to write engagingly and adapt content for various platforms will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report and write for print, web, and mobile formats

• Initiate coverage ideas for daily news and features

• Cultivate diverse sources for rich community stories

• Photograph local events to complement reporting
Requirements:

• Journalism degree or equivalent professional experience

• Ability to flexibly write in breaking news and features

• Strong interest in local community journalism

• Background in photography is a plus
