Role Description
This is a full-time, Work from Home Typesetter role. The Typesetter will be responsible for formatting manuscripts, laying out text and graphics, and preparing files for print and digital publication using industry-standard tools. Daily tasks include applying style guidelines, adjusting fonts and spacing, ensuring consistency across pages, and correcting typographical and layout errors. The role involves collaborating with editors, designers, and customer-facing teams to implement feedback, meet project specifications, and adhere to production timelines.
The Typesetter will also help maintain templates, follow brand and publisher standards, and support quality checks before final delivery.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Typesetting, with the ability to format manuscripts for print and digital outputs.
Solid Typing skills to efficiently handle manuscript input, corrections, and revisions.
Experience with Adobe InDesign, E-PUB or similar layout and design software used in publishing.
Customer Service orientation to understand client requirements and respond to feedback professionally.
Relevant Education or training in publishing, graphic design, typography, or a related field.
Attention to detail, strong grammatical and layout accuracy, and commitment to quality.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment.
Prior experience in book publishing, print production, or a similar role is preferred.
