Role Description This is a full-time Filmmaker role based in Milan in a hybrid work arrangement, combining on‑site collaboration with partial work from home. The Filmmaker will oversee projects from concept to final delivery, including developing visual ideas, planning shoots, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include directing film and video shoots, managing equipment, and ensuring that each project aligns with the foundation’s mission and creative standards.
The role involves script development, storyboarding, and preparing shot lists, as well as supervising post‑production activities such as editing, sound design, color grading, and final output. The Filmmaker will also contribute to scheduling, budgeting, and production logistics, while maintaining clear communication across creative, technical, and administrative teams.
Qualifications Strong skills in Film Direction and visual storytelling, with the ability to guide cast and crew and maintain a coherent creative vision.
Proficiency in Film Production and Video Production, including planning shoots, managing production schedules, and coordinating resources.
Experience in Post‑Production, including editing workflows, sound design coordination, and collaboration on color grading and finishing and AI.Capability in Scriptwriting, including crafting narratives, dialogues, and treatments aligned with project objectives.
Proficiency with professional camera systems, lighting, and audio equipment, as well as non‑linear editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) and video AI.Strong organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Relevant education in Film, Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; prior work in cultural, educational, or non‑profit environments is an advantage.
