Production coordinator - maternity cover

Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. Our Film & Animation team is looking for an organised self-starter to join us as a production coordinator.

Working in this pivotal role, the production coordinator will collaborate with a high-performing team of producers, production managers, camera operators, animators and editors to deliver film and animation for some of the UK’s biggest brands.

Working from our film production facility in Nottinghamshire and occasionally on location, the ideal candidate will have relevant experience to enable them to plan, schedule and support productions that are being delivered at pace in a busy and pressured studio environment. The role is not offered as a remote working opportunity.

The successful candidate will work on setting up the production office, organising equipment, supplies and staff. They will need to coordinate travel, accommodation, work permits and visas for cast and crew, as well as distributing shooting schedules, crew and cast lists, scripts and script revisions.

They will liaise with the transport team, couriers and shipping companies, as well as helping the production manager to wrap the production, closing accounts with suppliers and returning surplus stock.

They will also be responsible for:

  • Preparing, updating and distributing crew lists, daily progress reports and script changes
  • Dealing with call sheets and transport requirements
  • Organising the schedule with a team of production managers and other coordinators
  • Running daily production meetings
  • Monitoring post-production workflow with the animation and edit teams
