About the roleWe are looking for a Digital Video and Photography Editor to create the day-to-day output of video and photography content across Halfords Retail, Autocentre and internal digital and social media channels, supporting key business, marketing, PR and communication objectives.
Working closely with the Studio Manager within the Halfords internal studio, this role will create and deliver engaging final digital video and photography content to engage Halfords target audiences in a relevant way, aligning with the overall strategy and multi‑channel marketing campaigns. This includes delivering bespoke content to be used across social media channels including Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and Linked In, alongside the website and You Tube.
Keyresponsibilities
- Respond to stakeholder briefs and liaise with a team of creatives to design bespoke post‑production edits for both video and photography
- Utilising graphics and editing techniques to produce a wide range of creative and innovative content for a variety of formats and across a breadth of digital and social media channels
- Develop video and photography content that is fit for purpose and meets deadlines.
- Support maintain and develop distinct and on brand creative outputs for video and photography content in accordance with the overarching brand and digital strategy, objectives and tone of voice
- Ensure the maintenance and preparation of all video and photography equipment, as well as raise requests for additional equipment, software and props
- Upload video and photography requests in accordance with deadlines
- Work from start to finish on creative video and photography productions including pre‑production, execution and delivery of creative assets
- Work closely with the Studio Manager to plan and take on a brief/project that requires video and photo support, including the creation of shot lists and storyboarding in the pre‑production phase.
- Be able to output across multiple channels in varying formats including, Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, Web and more
- Experience with content creation in studio and lifestyle‑based environments
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, predominantly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom
- Experience in producing final assets for use across multiple channels in varying formats including, but not exclusive to, Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube and Web
- A creative flair and are able to think both creatively and strategically
- Knowledge of video and photo production techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to deal with external stakeholders and senior management
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Flexible in working approach and able to problem solve to achieve the best possible outcome
