Remote YouTube Video Editor: Create & Compile Daily Clips

We are looking for an organised
, highly motivated individual who has a natural eye for producing content on You Tube. If selected for this position, you will be responsible for the entire process of production
:

In order:

• The idea - video title, selecting videos, documenting your selection
• The thumbnail - graphic design, AI assistance and collaboration with the content creator
• The video - downloading already produced content, putting several videos together
• Uploading the final video

Repeat at least twice per day.

Using a vast back-catalogue (thousands) of videos already created, you will be responsible for picking out a couple of them, which work together in a compilation. To begin with, all video titles and ideas will need to be approved by the content creator, Nought.

For example:

1) A video series which has three individual videos would be the perfect collection of content for one compilation video, which features all three videos back to back, in order.

2) In the more likely scenario, where multiple videos don't follow a storyline, you will be required to look through the catalogue of content and develop an idea which can take advantage of certain storylines from those videos.

E.g. "GTA 5 but I'm RICH" could involve multiple videos which show some form of wealth.

As well as this, from time to time you may be expected to edit brand partnerships, this can include:

• spending up to 2 hours on a mobile app, recording footage
• editing clips together from the brand and/ or the creator
• following confidential briefs to ensure the segment follows creator/ brand guidance

We run the UK Gaming You Tube Channel, Nought, which has amassed a dedicated and thriving audience of more 8 million subscribers. The goal is to launch a secondary channel which uploads at least 2 videos per day by repackaging and recirculating already produced content.

You will be in direct communication with the content creator, and have assistance from an in-house data manager and designer, with the expectation to work independently long-term.

This is an aggressive and volatile position which in the beginning will only renew on a monthly basis (because the channel will be starting from scratch).

Our objective is possible and has been proven by other creators on the platform. If you like to think outside of the box, keep a finger on the pulse and work in a competitive environment with room to grow, this position is for you.

If we are able to establish the channel into a reliable business, long-term job security will be more promising, alongside opportunities to expand into other areas of content distribution.

You will not be dropped into this position blindly, proper guidance and assistance will be available. However, we do expect you to be proactive, have a sharp creative skillset, mindset and eagerness to learn, with the aim to manage your position independently with confidence.
