This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-award-winning team ( ) within Warwick Business School. The Smart Stage team helps innovate the way WBS approaches its online, live delivery of education. The postholder will, in the main, be operating our Smart Stage facility and providing high-quality live-streaming for the business school. Smart Stage ( ) is an immersive, augmented reality video environment which allows the presenters to see and interact with the content around them, such as graphics and even holograms.
This stage will be used for the delivery of synchronous, online events. The role holder will proactively support members of faculty in using our teaching technologies, in particular our innovative live-streaming environments including XR facilities. This will include day-to-day administration, development and technical support during live sessions. The role holder will play a key role in the development of innovative teaching by working with a range of presenters, in order to support and develop them to use the technologies.
The Live Streaming Production Coordinator will liaise with colleagues, members of faculty and external stakeholders to support in the design, creation, administration and delivery of best in class online teaching events, ensuring an excellent student experience. They will provide expertise, advice and technical support, resolving issues quickly and thoroughly, escalating when necessary. This role could be a good fit for people with a background in media and video production, live production (theatre or education), broadcast and/or others.
Please note that due to the nature of this role and business operation requirements, the successful applicant will be required to work the majority of their time on campus. They will also need to be available to occasionally work evenings and weekends when required. However, they will only ever be required to work 5 days in 7.
