Digital Content Assistant (Stage Door 11 prog)

Citizens Theatre

at 12:00

We are partnering with Good Chance to offer this new opportunity for someone with experience of forced displacement to join our marketing team.

We are seeking an independent and digitally savvyassistantto support two exciting strands of work within our theatre. First, the promotion of our major Christmas production, Cinderella. And secondly, telling the story of Navigate, a community arts project created in collaboration with people with lived experience of seeking sanctuary.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone passionate about theatre, social media, storytelling and community engagement. You’ll help create dynamic digital content, capture behind-the-scenes moments, support campaigns across social platforms. You will connect audiences with work that matters. From festive rehearsals and opening nights to workshops, artist interviews and community voices, you’ll help shape how people experience these projects online. As part of this role, you will connect with other freelancers who produce content for the Citz, gaining experience assisting with the organisation and delivery of photoshoots and filming.

Reporting to the Digital Officer, there is an expectation that the suitable person will be able to demonstrate existing experiences and examples of their digital skills. This experience could be in a professional setting, a placement, or within your own life. The role is focused on supporting someone in digital marketing, content creation or arts communication. It is an opportunity to take a career step forward, experience a vibrant theatre environment, and contribute to work with genuine social impact.

It would be beneficial to be eager to learn and be able to co-ordinate tasks well independently, whilst demonstrating effort and engagement. A knowledge of the main social media platforms would be advantageous.
