Working on The Pharmaceutical Journal, the official journal of the Royal College of Pharmacy, you will ensure our content is precise and presented in the best possible way to our readers.

Working on The Pharmaceutical Journal, the official journal of the Royal College of Pharmacy, you will ensure our content is precise and presented in the best possible way to our readers.

• Subedit news and expert commentary to ensure it reads well and adheres to house style;
• Subedit scientific and clinical copy to ensure content is free of errors;
• Fact check sources and identify statements at risk of libel;
• Write headlines and stand firsts that get to the crux of a story and lure the reader in;
• Research pictures and write picture captions;
• Add value with multimedia content, including videos and podcasts;

• Journal publishing processes;
• Copyediting, proofreading;
• Experience of working on content in different formats;
• STM publishing;
• Writing and editing skills;
• An understanding of the healthcare sector;

Royal College of Pharmacy supports and works in a hybrid way, which means you will be able to work from home, however, there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working – on average and typically this may be something between 4-8 working days per month at our London Office Office.
