Outpost VFX 2D Supervisor

As a 2D Supervisor at Outpost, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the technical and artistic success of the studio’s 2D department across London and Bournemouth. Managing shots seamlessly from initial concept to final delivery, you will oversee all aspects of the 2D, pre-production, and post-production pipelines for high-end film and episodic visual effects projects.

You will be responsible for managing workloads, mentoring a talented team of compositing artists, and implementing creative problem-solving strategies to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality. Acting as the vital link between production management and creative vision, you will utilize your deep visual effects background and technical toolkit—including Houdini, Photoshop, Python scripting, and Shotgrid—to champion pipeline optimization, enforce industry best practices, and foster a highly supportive, people-first studio environment.
