DescriptionReporting to the Director of Creative & Production, the Senior Production Manager oversees all operations and resources for the creative development and video production of advertising and promotional campaigns aligned with the strategic objectives of the Marketing & Communications division.
Key Tasks- Manage a team of approximately 30 staff members across creative direction, design, project co-ordination and digital content creation.
- Collaborate closely with creative leads across the Audio, Entertainment and News units, as well as the Design Studio manager.
- Ensure seamless execution and consistency across all stages of project development.
- Manage performance and professional development of staff under your supervision.
- Oversee project assignments and resource allocation in collaboration with key team members.
This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Your profile- In-depth knowledge of radio, TV and digital advertising creative and production workflows (ideally in promo production).
- Technical familiarity with the Radio-Canada post-production environment a strong asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
- Five (5) to (7) seven years’ experience managing or supervising creative or advertising teams.
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience in advertising and communications, including both creative direction and video production.
- Understanding of key production roles, including copywriters, directors, editors, sound mixers, designers and social media content creators.
- Familiarity with all production and post-production phases.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proven leadership with creative teams.
- Strong planning skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Jira.
